The Cabin is situated in the grounds of our home, Pine Lodge, a peaceful haven in the Dartmoor National Park about 3 miles from Buckfastleigh, which is between Exeter and Plymouth.

For those requiring something a little different in a tranquil setting, The Cabin offers light and spacious comfortable single storey accomodation of living room, kitchen/dining room, shower and W.C. and two bedrooms, one with 5ft. bed and one with two 3ft. beds. There is also a loft bed platform suitable for an older child.

In a simple rustic style but with all the amenities you need, The Cabin is fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, washer, tumble drier, SKY/TV/DVD/radio. There is a woodburner and electric heating. All beds have duvets and blankets and bed linen and towels are provided. Beds made up for arrival. Outside there is a sheltered verandah with seating and The Cabin is surrounded by lawns with views to the Moor. There is also a barbecue area with additional seating.

You are welcome to wander in our peaceful and interesting gardens. The open Moor is just 5 minutes' stroll along the bridle path to Ludgate. We also have 20 acres of fields, woods, stream and marsh adjacent to the Moor. Ample private parking. Water is natural spring water which is tested annually. The Cabin is Non-smoking. Well behaved pet by arrangement only for a small extra charge.

The Cabin offers a chance to unwind in tranquil surroundings away from the rat race! A haven for wildlife: badgers, foxes, deer, rabbits and bats and at various times of the year, over 50 species of bird. Experience the peace and stillness of an early morning or a true starry night. Free range eggs on the house - chickens permitting!
